We always admire black walnut wood, Its simple, elegant and unique wood grain.
3 years ago, we were thinking to "sew" this two types of element together - wood and leather, but we couldn't.
 
Today, we made it!
The wood has been treated with food-safe beeswax finish to show its beautiful natural pattern.
The natural vegetable tanned leather was stitched with the wood block, NOT glued and nailed.
 
Please be aware that this is a natural product, each piece of leather or wood has its own unique grain characteristics and natural blemishes which are not defects.
